The most important milestones in FTC’s corporate history:
1994: Development of the first FTC trading system.
1995: Real-time testing of the trading system (managed account), Company founded
1996: Launch of FTC Global Diversified I (today: FTC Futures Fund Classic)
1997: US professional journal, FUTURES Magazine, rates FTC Global Diversified I the top performer of the year
1998: FTC authorized for public distribution of the FTC Futures Fund SICAV (Classic) in Austria
2001: The Barclay Group ranks FTC Futures Fund Classic 18th out of the 20 best futures funds of the past five years worldwide
2002: Start of FTC Futures Fund Dynamic. The fund is ranked three times in the top spot worldwide of best funds of the month of FUTURES Magazine
Launch of first guarantee bond with FTC Futures Fund Dynamic as underlying instrument
2005: Start of FTC Commodity Fund Alpha. Both FTC Classic and Dynamic rank several times among the top three of Barclay Group and FUTURES Magazine rankings
Assets under management of all FTC funds exceed 120 million euro for the first time
2006: Start of FTC Gideon I, our trend-following stocks fund of funds. For two months in a row, FTC takes the top position in the European Hedge Fund Industry, first and second place for FTC Futures Fund Classic, and Dynamic in Scorecard of Wall Street Journal Europe.
2007: 220 million euro assets under management (as of Dezember, 31).
2008: Three times "Gold" for FTC Futures Funds at the Austrian Alternative Investment Awards.
2010: FTC shuts down it's subsidiary in Nassau and concentrates all activities in Vienna/Austria.
2011: New management team in Research & Development. Prof. Dr. Bernd Scherer new Chief Investment Officer.
